Our first event featured Anselm Küsters, a leading expert in EU policy and digital governance, who presented a thought-provoking talk titled “Standards and Competition in the Metaverse: Assessing the EU’s Approach to Virtual Worlds”.

Last Monday 15 April 2024, the Chair for the responsible development of the Metaverse organised the Webinar “Final Fantasy: A Roadmap for Virtual Property in the Metaverse”.

RECORDING AVAILABLE | On Thursday, 8th February 2024, the Chair for the responsible development of the Metaverse, in cooperation with the European Union Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office, hosted the Webinar “Protection of Privacy in Virtual Worlds”.

El próximo 8 de febrero 2024, de 17.00 a 20.00, la Cátedra para el desarrollo responsable del metaverso celebra su primera aniversario con la conferencia “Metaverse for Dummies (una aproximación jurídica para novatos)”, que tendrá lugar en la Sala de conferencias de la Sede Universitaria de Alicante, ubicada en el edificio de C/ San Fernando 40.

La Academia Mexicana de Derecho internacional privado y comparado en colaboración con la Cátedra para el desarrollo responsable del Metaverso (Universidad de Alicante) y el Proyecto PAPIME PE309424, han organizado la mesa 3 de las “Charlas en el Metaverso”, que tendrá lugar, el próximo jueves 15 de febrero 2024, a las 16.00 CEST (11:00 en México), en la plataforma de mundos virtuales ENGAGE.
