II EMRN Conference: “Exploring the Intersection of AI and the Metaverse”, Alicante, 11-13 June 2025
The countdown to the 2025 International Congress has begun, and this year, we’ve taken things to the next level in exploring the digital worlds.
We are excited to announce that this year’s Congress will feature two immersive parts, diving deep into the ever-expanding universe of the Metaverse, Artificial Intelligence, and immersive technologies. This represents a unique opportunity to discover the latest trends, reflect on emerging challenges, and engage in key discussions about the future of such technologies and their societal impact.
Part I of the Congress will take place on June 11-12 and will focus on the II EMRN Conference: «Exploring the Intersection of AI and the Metaverse.» The provisional program in now available.
Returning for its second edition, this conference will delve into topics such as AI integration in the Metaverse, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications, and the significant societal, ethical, and legal challenges these technologies are creating. Experts and professionals from around the world will come together to analyze how AI is transforming the digital experience and how it is being integrated into the most advanced virtual environments.
In addition to a diverse lineup of keynote speeches from leading experts in the field, the Congress will offer selected participants the chance to either engage in a panel discussion or present their poster on the topics suggested in the Call for Submissions. The event is organized within the framework of Project for the implementation of the Charter of Digital Rights in specific environments financed by Red.es and the European Metaverse Research Network (EMRN), two key initiatives that aim to ensure the ethical and responsible development of emerging digital technologies, with special attention to citizens’ rights in the digital space.
