«Digital rights in the Metaverse»: presentation of the Chair in Madrid and round table discussion.

Similar to the event held at the University of Alicante, in order to present the Chair for the responsible development of the Metaverse, another activity took place at the headquarters of the Permanent Delegation of the European Commission in Madrid on the 15th of March 2023. On this occasion, after the corresponding presentation by the Chair’s Direction, the State Secretary for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence, Carme Artigas, delivered a brief message, which was followed by a round table discussion on «Digital Rights in the Metaverse», composed of Idoia Salazar (OdiseIA), Moisés Barrio and Richard Benjamins (Telefónica). The round table was moderated by Manuel Desantes, president of the Chair’s Scientific Committee.
